Microsoft offer a completely free web-based version of their Office suite, similar to Google Docs, called Office Online. Until recently they were known as Office Web Apps but due to some confusion over what that meant (e.g. did they need to be installed?) Microsoft opted to change the name to Office Online. The obvious advantage to Office Online is that it is completely free, but is it worth using?
